Is it an insulin problem or a sugar problem?

0 3 years ago

Now this excess glucose sends new instruction to the body that it must secrete excess insulin to push this excess glucose into the cells. But the body reaches a point where no excess insulin can help the excess glucose enter the cells anymore. It looks as if the insulin isn’t doing the job it is supposed to do and that is what we call insulin resistance. But is it really an insulin problem? Isn’t this a problem of too much sugar? If we stop sugar from entering the body, can we reverse this toxic sugar-insulin relationship?
